Charlie Crow is the usual late night radio show host. The ratings of the show are low, and the likelihood that their show will be bought is very small, but one evening, during one of the nightly conversations, a certain Jeff calls Charlie, talking about some shadow people that come and take the lives of sleeping people. Having laughed a little and sent the guy to the nearest psychiatric hospital for treatment, Charlie continues his show. Waking up the next morning, the hero finds a folder with files about those same people - shadows, and in the evening he receives another call from Jeff, who is preparing to shoot himself in the head.
