Zinos owns a huge, sloppy restaurant in an old industrial building on the outskirts of Hamburg. Customers are quite satisfied with his homemade dishes and know the menu, which consists of just a few lines on a single sheet of paper, by heart. Wanting to diversify his repertoire and increase revenue, Zinos brings in a new chef. The virtuoso Shayn cooks a wide variety of dishes, teaching Zinos the secrets of his craft and, in between, throwing knives with precision. But the sophistication and boldness of the result immediately scares off his regular customers. The moment comes when Zinos is alone: ​​the customers have left, the chef has been fired, and his girlfriend (Pheline Roggan) has found someone else.
