Back in Phoenix, he was in a relationship with a girl, but she died after a fall following an argument. Haunted by the incident, Karlin decides to start fresh, he moves to Los Angeles and lands a job at a radio station. There, he meets Jon, an aspiring DJ dreaming of his big break. Karlin quickly takes Jon under his wing, making him a co-host and setting a provocative tone for the show, featuring candid conversations, outrageous antics, and a disregard for social norms. Despite the station owner's disapproval, their ratings skyrocket. To further fuel the buzz, the duo comes up with a risky stunt, encouraging listeners to call in and confess to serious crimes.
