Jack, loses his mother, after which his sister attempts suicide. Jack saves the girl, but she is sent to a mental hospital and Jack is not even allowed to visit her, and he does a "brilliant" thing: he acts out madness (and in a rather ridiculous way), and is quickly sent to the same mental hospital as his sister.
