Roger is a pathologically jealous, abusive, and domineering husband. He is tormented by suspicions that his wife is cheating on him. He is particularly alarmed by Maria's (Jennifer Gatti) late home visits on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when she claims to be working out at the gym with a friend. Maria suffers from her husband's total control but tries to maintain the appearance of a normal life. To verify his suspicions, Roger hires a private investigator. The detective soon confirms that Maria does indeed have an lover. Consumed by rage, Roger decides to eliminate his rival and offers the detective a large sum to kill Maria's lover. Meanwhile, Maria's friend, Linda (Dedee Pfeiffer), discovers that Roger has been secretly withdrawing money from the company account where they both work. This discovery adds another layer to the tangled web of deception and betrayal.
