Margot (Michelle Williams) meets Daniel on her way home from a business trip, and there's a clear attraction between them. Several more interesting coincidences occur, and it turns out they live on the same street, practically across the street. But upon arriving home, Margot announces that she's married. While everything should remain as is, Margot and Daniel both understand, somewhere in the back of their minds, that this is just the beginning of something more. Margot's husband, a cookbook author and excellent chef, is a sweet and caring man. They've been married for five years, and Margot, although she experiences occasional misunderstandings, sees no reason to break up. Clearly, this is one of those situations where a person is tormented by the question: "Why can't I love two people at the same time?"
