The beginning of the mid-twentieth century. Fleeing the bombing of English cities, the elderly aristocrat Broughton and his young and sexy wife Diana (Greta Scacchi) come to Kenya. Diana instantly falls in love with the main local Don Juan, Lord Erroll, and spends time with him. Their crazy affair becomes the main topic of gossip in the English colony. A few days later, Erroll is found dead. Who is the killer? The deceived husband, one of the lord's many mistresses, or someone else?
