A young couple says goodbye to their friends and moves to another city. During the trip, the woman recalls recent events in her life. It becomes clear that they had a son. The child suffered from an illness that would leave him unable to fully recover as an adult. The child died under unknown circumstances. Then she reminisces about the man losing a lot of money, which was the main reason for their move. They had been driving for eight hours when the man fell asleep at the wheel, and they were involved in an accident. Luckily, there was a farm nearby, where they decided to seek help. The friendly hosts, the husband, a tall man with a somewhat wild look, and his charming wife (Kelly Hu) invite them to stay the night. That's when it all began.
