Pianist Luca Flores spent his childhood in Africa, where his geologist father worked, and studied in Florence. His great talent and constant work opened the door to the world of world music, and he performed with the greatest jazz musicians of the time. But the tragedy he experienced as a child, when his mother died in an accident, left a deep wound in his soul from which he never recovered, ultimately leading to his tragic death in March 1995.
