Sissy Spacek Nude
Ed is a fairly wealthy man who believes in his country and its ideals of freedom, independence, and justice. His son, Charles, represents a different generation, he is disillusioned with his country and his sympathies lean toward communism. Wanting to prove something to his father, Charles leaves for Chile with his wife (Sissy Spacek) and works part-time as a newspaper journalist. Pinochet's coup takes everyone by surprise, and Charles disappears. Despite his differences with his son, Ed immediately sets off for Chile to search for him. As the search progresses, Ed's disillusionment with his country and with the concept of justice in general grows. Ed, a man of the old school, finds it difficult to imagine that there are no ideals or concepts, in modern world, only money rules.
