During one of Charlie's hallucinogen binges, his late mother appears in a vision, urging him to go to Bucharest. He decides to go, to an unknown destination and an unknown reason. Not daring to disobey his mother, Charlie boards a plane, where his unusual adventures will begin. There, a fellow passenger makes him promise to find his daughter, Gabi (Evan Rachel Wood). The girl turns out to be a red-haired beauty and immediately captures Charlie's heart. This, of course, doesn't please her husband, a local crime boss. Determined to be with his beloved, Charlie enters the bizarre world of Romanian gangsters, filled with violence and, surprisingly, love.
