Whaling is banned in Iceland. To save money, former whaling ships are converted into tourist attractions, showcasing whales. Ten foreigners set off on one of these cruisers to admire the whales. But the captain is killed by mistake, and his second mate, instead of helping the group, escapes by boat. Soon, a seemingly kind man picks up the tourists on his boat. Intrigue begins when, instead of landing on shore, he brings them to another whaling ship. The tourists immediately begin to be killed, one after another. The whales are to blame. Some are prevented from hunting them, others want to see them. But they swim peacefully, unaware that another tourist is being chopped into tiny pieces because of them.
