A new school year begins. The football team’s coach has big plans for the season, but he is overly strict with his players, Jesse, in particular, bears the brunt of his harshness. Jesse’s best friend, Johnnie, is always by his side. Meanwhile, the boys navigate the typical ups and downs of teenage life, some set their sights on the cheerleaders, others pull pranks, and some find themselves in conflicts with local bullies. Jesse is infatuated with Sue Ann (Susan Player), a girl who works at a diner, but he gradually begins to take notice of Laurie (Jennifer Ashley), a cheerleader, leaving him torn between his feelings for the two girls. Johnnie begins dating Sally (Lisa Reeves), but the situation is complicated by the fact that she is the ex-girlfriend of Duane, a school bully. As a result, tension mounts between Johnnie and Duane. Cars honk outside the diner while a naked waitress, Susan Player, engages in sex inside a van.
In the locker room, Jennifer Ashley, Susan Player, Cheryl Smith, Lisa Reeves, and Diane Lee Hart, all nude, change into their cheerleader uniforms.
