Oliver and Svenja (Nicolette Krebitz) move to Frankfurt am Main. Oliver lands a promising job at a bank, and at first their future seems bright and promising. A turning point comes at a social event, where Svenja meets her husband's boss, who develops a deep attraction to her. Things escalate further when Oliver is suddenly offered the position of head of the bank's Indonesian branch. The prospect of moving threatens the stability of their marriage and exposes pent-up tensions.
