"A Casa" (1997)

A man wanders silently through an old mansion, peering into rooms and encountering various people. The house's inhabitants are nameless and mysterious. They could be anyone, anywhere, as the mansion's location is not specifically designated. Space and time are blurred, for the present does not exist. The action may even unfold not on planet Earth, but on one of the islands of Solaris, or in the hero's subconscious. The reality of the inhabitants themselves is also called into question. Some are more like ghosts, echoes of the past imprinted in the house's memory, others perhaps are images from the future breaking through. There are certainly those who exist in the present, but identifying them is virtually impossible. Only the man knows the truth, who, like a living antenna, picks up and recognizes streams of energy and information from different times. However, this could simply be a figment of his imagination.
