Julie (Marianna Hill), a journalist, unexpectedly finds herself the target of anonymous death threats. Meanwhile, a mysterious killer is committing a series of murders among the members of the psychological support group Julie regularly attends. Those around her assure Julie that the two events are unrelated and that the threats are merely a prank. However, Julie's doubts grow, and she gradually comes to the conclusion that the potential killer could be anyone close to her: her own psychologist, who had previously been in a relationship with each of the victims; his daughter (Donna Wilkes), who has discovered her father's affair with Julie; or her ex-husband, who categorically opposed their separation.
