A grown man falls into depression, plagued by unreasonable anxiety, and has trouble sleeping. Add stress, daily problems, and worries to the mix, and the hustle and bustle of life around him quietly fills him up. A six-month vacation seems the only solution. The time for frantic running is over. He longs to think more, to reflect, to finally start a journal. But the long-awaited vacation brings no relief, the depression persists, and time slips through his fingers like sand. The stress worsens, and suddenly the only solution seems to be a new depression medication, so lovingly slipped to him by his wife's brother. The pills provide a false sense of balance and harmony, and life immediately blossoms with new colors. It seems as if only now has some meaning appeared. With each passing day, emotions become more vivid, but is it really the pills that make the difference when, after years of a dull existence, you are simply tasting life?
