The life of the quiet, modest, and boring Monsieur Faure was just like that, or rather, it should have been. And it would have been, if not for a stupid accident that occurred in his youth. As a result, a life resembling the lives of ordinary people was only a façade. An artificially created illusion of the life of a renowned doctor and scientist. And then his stable life began to crumble, and his family began to suspect something (finally, after so many years). Stuck in a vicious circle, unable to find a way out, and falling into deep depression, Faure sees only one way out for herself and her loved ones.
