Vera (Polina Agureeva) with her husband Valera and daughter live in a village forgotten by God. Once at a wedding, Vera meets Pavel and they are attracted to each other. After being bitten by a dog, Vera's daughter ends up in the city hospital. Vera and her husband ask Pavel to take them to the city in his boat.
