After an average middle-aged man's failed suicide attempt, two of his friends from his wild youth decide to cheer him up and take him to the most wonderful place on earth - the ski resort where they once spent the best weekend of their lives 24 years ago. It's not that all three of them are exactly enthusiastic, but life isn't working out for anyone, so a change of scenery is very welcome. But Adam has nowhere to give his nephew, so he goes with them, squabbling with the would-be suicider along the way. The fairytale paradise, in their absence, has become deserted, dilapidated, not as vibrant as in their youth, and one-armed worker, Phil, is rude. This doesn't stop our heroes from getting drunk in the hot tub and waking up the next morning in the past.
