Obaba is a town in northern Spain, where several tragic and mystical events took place in the late 80s. A young photojournalist (Barbara Lennie), on her way to the city, on a dark, deserted road, meets a strange guy with a lizard. When asked how long it will take to get to the city, he answers 87 turns. Arriving at her destination, the girl finds herself captured by the past and at the center of many intertwining stories.
