Barbora Bobulova "Saint Paul" (2000)

A biblical epic woven from the Acts of the Apostles and the Epistles of the Apostle Paul. The story recounts the transformation of the Jew Saul—from a persecutor of pagans to a devoted follower of Jesus, the Apostle Paul. A Roman citizen, Saul belonged to a well-off family. Rejecting the early Christian teachings, he became a persecutor, but one day, while traveling to Damascus, a true miracle occurred: Christ appeared to Saul. He then converted to Christianity, becoming a zealous champion of the new religion and preaching the faith in Palestine, Asia, Southern Europe, and other lands of the ancient world.
