As a child, Holly (Clementine Poidatz) experienced severe trauma. Her mother, a cult member, stabbed her husband and killed her second daughter, drowning the unfortunate child in the toilet. Since then, Holly has suffered periodic panic attacks, hallucinations, and defecated exclusively in the sink or bathtub. But one day, she and her husband meet an old friend who invites her to a meeting with a fashionable guru who founded the ULM community and who, supposedly, can restore the young woman's psyche. At first, she believes this is true, but Holly later realizes that the guru's unexpected attention to her is far more sinister.
