The steady lives of the three owners of a small Toronto publishing company, writer and publisher Lucy (Leslie Hope), her husband Michael, and their business partner William are abruptly upended by the arrival of Sloan, a former boxer turned aspiring author whose debut novel the firm is preparing to release.
