American war reporter Richard Boyle and his friend Dr. Rock find themselves in the epicenter of stormy events. Left without work, housing and means of subsistence, having lost his family, Boyle is forced to take up his camera again after a long break, with the firm intention of filming his best report on the territory of a state torn apart by complex internal political contradictions among government paramilitary formations that organize total terror and use mass repressions against the civilian population. In the company of his friend Rock, who sees in the undertaken trip to El Salvador only a way to successfully and recklessly spend time, Boyle finds himself in the very heat of a terrible tragedy occurring in a small Latin American country shaking in agony from the armed conflicts that have engulfed it.
