Having lost his best friend, Paco sinks deeper into heroin addiction. In a desperate attempt to start over, he moves to Madrid with his father, where he begins therapy under the supervision of a Chilean doctor. But his past catches up with him, and witness testimony reveals the terrible truth, Paco and his friend were involved in the murder of a drug dealer and his wife. Overwhelmed by guilt, Paco confesses and ends up behind bars. After his release, he finds refuge with his ex-girlfriend, Betty (Lali Espinet), who is forced to make a living as a prostitute. Instead of starting over, Paco becomes involved in drug trafficking. Soon, a former cellmate who escaped from the hospital joins the pair, and the three of them embark on a violent adventure, committing a series of daring robberies.
